Well here is another one of those rare finds. We located a wonderfully clean 1956 Telecaster in a translucent brown finish. We’ve only seen one other one before…it was owned by Gillie and it’s pictured in our archives. This recent example came with a “brand new” 1956 tweed Fender Vibrolux, with cover. Wow!!!
The guitar does play and sound unbelievable, but the amp…The amp is like a time capsule of what an amp used to sound like in the ‘50’s and should sound like now. You plug your guitar in, turn the amp on and within a few seconds of warm-up time…SHE SOUNDS GREAT! No knob twisting, no external equalizer, no fancy tubes, no fancy speakers…just simple perfection.
