Super lightweight and resonant, This 100% unmolested 1953 Telecaster sports a body and neck date of 12/53. The guitar shows some honest wear and tear, but you will be hard pressed to find a better sounding/feeling one

We think that Gretsch guitars are some of the coolest guitars ever made. They are very different from our regular fare of Fender and Gibson guitars. Maybe, it’s because they were made in Brooklyn, NY…”fuhgeddaboudit!” This particular example is a very early (1953) example of a Duo Jet, Model 6128 in Black. Although these guitars appear to be solid bodies, all of the early pre-1970 Jets were actually heavily routed to keep the weight down. This one even has a cool Gretsch logo on the lower body. What a very hip guitar for its time…and this one does play and sound extremely hip.

This 1954 Esquire is a beauty. Simple and great…This guitar’s maple neck and ash body, with one great single coil pickup combine to give it the sound that made both country and rock ‘n’ roll music household words. As simple as it is, this guitar can do it all. She is all original with a newer form fit case.
